Match the replacement to the spring that came off your door. Gather these four items from the broken spring, not from the opener.
- Inside Diameter for example 1.75 inches or 2 inches
- Wire size measure 20 coils and convert using a chart
- Overall length relaxed length including broken pieces
- Wind direction left wind or right wind
Using different specs can throw the door out of balance and damage hardware. Replace with like for like specs.
