Track radius refers to the curved portion of your garage door track where it transitions from vertical to horizontal. To measure it, look at the curved section and measure from the inside corner of the curve to the top of the track.
The most common residential sizes are 12-inch radius (tighter curve, less backroom needed) and 15-inch radius (gentler curve, smoother operation, more ceiling clearance).
