• Sensor logic active: The opener refuses to close (and may flash the light) if it does not see a valid beam. Confirm the receiver LED is solid.
  • Wiring reversed or shorted: Make sure the sensor wires are on the correct opener terminals and are not shorted together anywhere along the track.
  • Obstructions or reflective floors: Shiny floors or standing water can reflect infrared. Adjust the sensor angle slightly.
  • Wall console lock: Some wall stations have a lock or vacation mode. Unlock it and test again.
