This usually indicates a safety sensor issue. The photo eyes at the bottom of the tracks must be aligned and clean. If they are misaligned or blocked, the opener will only close when you hold the wall button continuously.
- Confirm both sensors face each other directly.
- Clean each lens with a soft cloth.
- Inspect for loose or damaged low-voltage wires.
