If the remote will not operate the opener, common causes include the following.
- Dead or weak batteries. Replace with a fresh set.
- Lost programming. Reprogram using the opener’s Learn button.
- Blocked signal. Make sure the opener’s antenna wire hangs down freely.
- Defective remote. Consider a replacement garage door remote.
