The flashing light is a safety warning from the opener. Common causes include the following.
- Safety sensors are blocked, dirty, or misaligned.
- Sensor wiring is loose or damaged.
- Less common: a failing logic or control board.
Start by cleaning and realigning the sensors. Verify the receiver LED is solid before considering parts replacement.
